Suitable for the production of cork strips for dark parquet flooring.

To produce dark pressed cork boards, the cork is 'baked' with hot steam. This gives the cork its dark brown color. The cork almost starts to burn, but the steam prevents this. However, a burning smell is produced, which is still perceptible in the finished board. This odor dissipates over time, but not within a few days.
